Artists, Linda Paton and Anne Dunlop, in their new store.
As businesses continue to be hit by closures this provides opportunities for short term occupation of shops until new longer term tenants can be found. Two local artists have taken advantage of this to create a pop up art exhibition in a shop in the heart of St Andrews town centre.
Linda Paton and Anne Dunlop, pictured above, have been busy filling up the old Pots and Pans shop next to Fisher & Donaldson, in Church Street, with beautiful artworks in time to open today. The exhibition should be around for a couple of weeks and is well worth a visit.
If you don’t get to check out the display in St Andrews there will be further chances to view the art in Elie in the last week of July and first week of August or at Pittenweem Arts Festival in the first week of August, where they will be ‘in a garage in the car park’.

Beautiful blue skies in St Andrews today. Finding a spot out of the wind on East Sands meant it was sunbathing weather.

A spot at the end of the beach out of the wind was perfect for sunbathing.
